I think I found some change;
Loose change tinkling in my hand

but just how shall I spend it?

Two cents spent on giving to another
A nickels worth of good eating
Quarters passed along fields of wildflowers
Dime, rhymes with time

To lose change
one would never know
the difference between
a stick in the mud and yard sculptures

I think I’d rather change
dollars for sense
than be changed
false recompense

Loose change, a view into
possibilities; to lose change
would mean the butterfly
never flew

but I did do a haiku once
yep ma, this is new, at least new to me
